The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our dental team, their training and professional credentials.

Ashish J. Vashi, D.D.S.
Dr. Vashi is a strong believer of dental education, for himself, his team, the community, and other fellow dentists. In addition to his education from dental school, Dr. Vashi has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education over the past few years. Most of the hours were completed in cosmetic dentistry. He is committed to continually upgrading his skills, and utilizing the latest techniques and advancements in all aspects of dentistry.

Education
Dr. Ashish J. Vashi graduated from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley and earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego.

Affiliations
Dr. Vashi is faculty at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry. He is an elected officer and on the Board of Directors of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society. He is active in the community and has organized free dental screenings for children in low income neighborhoods. He has also facilitated lectures for recent dental school graduates.

Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Vashi LOVES sports. He is a die-hard Lakers fan who is VERY proud that they have returned to their winning ways, and he tries to support them whenever he gets a chance. He loves spending time with his family. He also tries to meet up with friends, and make new ones, whenever he gets a chance.

 

Claudia - Registered Dental Assistant
Claudia is our registered dental assistant. She has been working as an assistant for 6 years with our practice. Claudia earned her certification at Pasadena Community College, and takes many continuing education courses every year, to constantly update her skills. She is the new mother to an adorable baby girl.

Tara - Registered Dental Hygienist
Tara is also our dental hygienist. She received her hygiene training at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, Hygiene program. Also, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal State University in Biology. Away from the office, Tara enjoys dabbling in art and spending time with her friends on the weekends!
